Won a 1¼m handicap at Redcar on good to firm in May and creditable second over 1¼m here next time. Beaten before stamina was an issue when remote last of 4 over 1½m at Salisbury since. Cheekpieces are reached for after that.
Off the mark when narrowly taking 8-runner handicap at Epsom (1¼m, good to firm) in July. Possibly unsuited by softer ground when only seventh of 10 at Sandown a fortnight later. Capable of bouncing back for top stable in red-hot form.
C&D winner but has yet to really fire this season. Back on a good mark as a result but need to see more.

Forecasts
Naasma (9/4), Pergola (9/4), Jet Black (9/4), Carp Kid (11/2)
PERGOLA has slower ground as a possible excuse for a disappointing run at Sandown last time and can bounce straight back with the William Haggas team in flying form. June's C&D winner Naasma can follow her home.
