Very smart 3-y-o who was placed in the Derby/Irish Derby in 2024 for James Fanshawe. However, ended that campaign below his best and continues to disappoint for James Owen, again proving headstrong at Goodwood last time. Opposable up in trip.

Ended last season with a good fourth in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot. Absent for a year before a low-key return but bounced back when decisively winning a 5-runner listed race at Beverley. Decent third of 5 in Group 3 at Goodwood since and worth another go at this longer trip.

Likeable sort who had a good spell in the Middle East earlier this year. Pushed Rebel's Romance close back on these shores in Yorkshire Cup but well held behind same rival at Royal Ascot. Given a break since and expected to bounce back with a big run.

Readily off the mark in course maiden on reappearance before not seen to best effect (had a wide trip) when fifth to Derby 1-2 Lambourn and Lazy Griff in Chester Vase. Resumed progress when excellent second in Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot but shaped as if amiss in Bahrain Trophy since.

Off the mark in Southwell novice on return and ran well when third in Lingfield Derby Trial. Made good late headway when eighth of 18 in Derby and backed that up when second in Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket, having no chance with a subsequent Group 1 winner. Not taken lightly up against his elders.

Frankel colt who built on debut promise when landing odds at Southwell. Failed to meet expectations in Chester Vase/Queen's Vase first 2 starts this year but produced a smart performance fitted with this headgear when commanding winner at Ascot on handicap bow. Looks ready for this level now.

The highly-regarded PINHOLE came good in this headgear when a wide-margin winner at Ascot on handicap bow 3 weeks ago and looks ready for this level now. Nightime Dancer remains of interest in this grade having had no chance against subsequent Goodwood Cup winner Scandinavia in the Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket, while the likeable Epic Poet can be expected to shrug off his below-par run in the Hardwicke and looks the pick of the elders having gone close in the Yorkshire Cup in May.
