Though SECRET SONATA finished last of three on debut at Nottingham, she was clearly held back by inexperience and can be expected to leave that form behind here. The Showcasing filly shades preference ahead of Vibrant Pearl, who proved a let-down at Catterick but showed more than enough prior to that to suggest that there are races to be won with her. Portsoken left her debut behind when runner-up at Newcastle and she is also considered, while newcomer Kath's Tipple needs a market check.
