Produced a career best when opening her account for the season in 12-runner listed event at Deauville (8f, good to soft) 24 days ago, going on over 1f out and unchallenged closing stages. Should remain competitive.

Smart mare who supplemented her Deauville listed success in class 2 handicap at Newcastle (7f) in January. Proved a disappointment on the back of a breathing op back there in April but was back on song when readily winning Chelmsford listed event (7f) last month. Worth another try back on turf.

Useful filly who resumed progress to win listed event at Salisbury in May, reverting to the prominent tactics that had seen her to good effect last year. Never really looked like following up in the Chipchase but bounced back to best when fourth of 11 in Hackwood Stakes at Newbury (6f) 11 days ago.

Improved performer this year, landing back-to-back handicaps in May (second over C&D) and again ran well when runner-up in 9-runner event at Newmarket (7f) 18 days ago. More needed back up in class, however.

Proved at least as good as ever when winning 9-runner listed race at Musselburgh (7.1f, good to firm) in June, kept up to work. Failed to fire back on all-weather in race won by Cloud Cover at Chelmsford last time but she's the type to bounce back quickly.

Useful performer who landed listed race at Longchamp in April. Quickly cast aside a lesser effort when fourth of 8 in 7f Group 3 back there last time but this demands a bit more.

Posted her best effort reverted to 6f when comfortably bagging 10-runner listed race at Meydan in January. Run best excused in Abernant Stakes at Newmarket 11 weeks later having been forced wider than ideal and warrants respect.

Useful filly who was quickly back to form when 2 lengths fourth of 11 in Summer Stakes (12/1) at York (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago, though that is about as good as she is.

Proved at least as good as ever when third in 1m Chantilly Group 2 (good) in June. Possibly amiss when pulled up in Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot last time, so better judged on previous form for now.

Dual 7f scorer at 2 yrs for Sir Michael Stoute and she took her form up a couple of notches when cosily landing 7f Epsom listed event in June. However, ran below form back up in grade in the Criterion Stakes at York last time.

Oasis Dream filly who resumed with an excellent second of 8 to Formal in listed race at Epsom (7f, good to soft) in June. Didn't need to improve to go one better in similar company at Carlisle (6.9f) since but needs more at this higher level.

Big improver this season, winning 7f handicaps at Newmarket and over C&D, the latter a valuable event which she won going away by 2½ lengths. Wasn't disgraced upped to a stiff 1m when ninth of 25 in Sandringham and return to this trip should see her in a better light.

Kingman filly who won a 7f Newmarket newcomers event and the Dick Poole at Salisbury (6f) on her first 2 starts. Disappointing in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket but ran a cracker in first-time blinkers when third of 25 in Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot. Well worth her place back up in grade.

Forecasts

Bright Thunder (7/2), Tabiti (9/2), Jabaara (9/2), Havana Pusey (10/1), Romantic Style (10/1), Betty Clover (14/1), Formal (14/1), Saqqara Sands (16/1), Fair Angellica (16/1), Silver Ghost (16/1), Arabian Dusk (18/1), Cloud Cover (18/1), Jasna's Secret (28/1), Chic Colombine (50/1)

13:55 Goodwood - 30 July 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

TABITI ran a cracker in first-time blinkers after 7 months off when third in the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot and could easily have more to come over the second half of the season on that evidence, so she's an appealing candidate stepping back up in grade. Jabaara is the type to bounce back quickly from a rare below-par effort and must enter the reckoning, along with Romantic Style, who wasn't seen to best effect in the Abernant Stakes at Newmarket in April.
