16/1
Thrice-raced maiden. 5/2, matched previous best when fourth of 8 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 27 days ago. Switch to handicaps rates a plus now starting out for new yard and confidence behind him in the betting would look significant.

Maiden who fared best of those from off the pace when fourth at Thirsk (7f) in June. Ran to a similar level when sixth of 8 in handicap at Haydock (7f, good to firm) 17 days ago but this ease in class can help and he has the assistance of a very promising rider. Cheekpieces on.

Doubled his tally at Doncaster (7f) in April and quickly dispelled a lesser display when second of 10 in handicap back at Doncaster (7f) 22 days ago. Gone well at this venue previously and he's a live each-way player once more.

Improved for the step up to a mile when off the mark at Ripon in June before a solid second at Beverley (8.5f). Far from disgraced in higher grade when fifth of 11 in handicap at York (7.9f, good to firm) 9 days ago and there's more races to be won with him from this sort of mark.

22/1
Le Brivido filly who showed more than previously when third of 11 in novice at Newcastle (7.1f) 23 days ago, suited by coming off a strong pace. Remains early days and she could have more to offer now handicapping.

10/3
Kuroshio filly who is going the right way now, career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm, 3/1) 15 days ago, readily. Merits serious consideration from 6 lb higher mark.

10/1, fifth of 7 in handicap at Catterick (7f, good to firm) 11 days ago, meeting with trouble twice over 1f out and never a threat. Worth another crack at this trip.

11/2
Maiden who has gone close on 3 occasions this year (twice over C&D) and probably undone by doing too much on the front end when seventh of 16 in handicap at Ayr (6f) 13 days ago, weakening last ½f. Type to bounce back with a visor now reached for.

50/1
Intrinsic filly who has offered little in trio of novice/maidens at up to 1m in recent months. Switch to handicaps ought to see her in a better light but she does need to step up plenty if she's to play a lead role.

Forecasts

Dolly's Delight (10/3), Dream Illusion (4/1), Due Respect (11/2), Bantz (6/1), Perfidia (13/2), Groundsman (8/1), Lunar Force (14/1), Uncle Simon (16/1), Breizh Sea (22/1), Our Nicola (50/1)

16:35 Redcar - 20 July 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

DOLLY'S DELIGHT looked a filly to keep onside when running out a dominant winner at Beverley (7.4f) 15 days ago and a 6 lb rise for that breakthrough success may not be enough to prevent the follow-up. Groundsman eased in class, Due Respect and Perfidia head the dangers. Bantz isn't dismissed lightly, either.
