Dual Fakenham chase winner last spring and back to form when second at Stratford (22.6f, good) when last seen 12 months ago. Has switched yards ahead of his return and could figure from this reduced mark provided he's ready to roll back hurdling.

Ex-Irish maiden hurdler who has shown bits and pieces of promise for current connections, finishing weakly after looking like he might take a hand at Hexham (23.3f, good) last month. Drops back down in trip.

Has slipped further in the weights and ran up to best despite appearing unsuited by the emphasis on speed when fifth of 7 in at Worcester (16f, good to firm) last month. Has struggled for consistency so far however, so wouldn't be sure to build on it here.

Isn't the force of fold but ended a long losing run with her best effort of the season at Carlisle (14.2f, good to soft) in June. Not in the same form at Haydock a couple of weeks later, but reverts to hurdles from a handy-looking mark so could be worth chancing (visor back on).

Won Stratford handicap chase last spring for Jamie Snowden and showed some ability remains when fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at this course (22.1f, soft) 3 weeks ago, deserving extra credit having been asked to force pace at a trip which stretches him. Not dismissed from 2 lb lower.

Arrives in good order, again finishing finding just a couple too good in 15-runner handicap hurdle at Worcester (16f, good) 12 days ago. Can make presence felt from an unchanged mark.

Not troubled the judge thus far and makes return for a new yard (sold for £6,500) after 12 months off. Betting can guide expectations from this much-reduced mark (tongue tie left off and had had a wind op).

Runner-up in Sedgefield novice in March but not in the same form on both subsequent starts (on Flat first occasion). He's had eighteen attempts over hurdles and is yet to get his head front.

Showed improved form from 4 lb out of the handicap to get off the mark returning from 4 months off at Bangor (16.7f, good) 6 weeks ago, deserving extra credit given he had far from a clear run entering the straight. Tongue tie applied and fancied to be involved (has had a wind op).

Cases can be made for several, but it could be worth taking a chance on ARCTIC FOX, who has only a handful starts in this sphere to her name and Martin Todhunter's 9-y-o can cash in on a much-reduced mark with a visor applied for the first time for current connections. It's slightly disconcerting that Hope Hill has had a wind op since his Bangor victory 6 weeks ago, but he heads up the dangers nonetheless, ahead of Jlow and stable-switcher Ingennio.
