No Nay Never colt is related to plenty of high quality winners and offered something to work on when second of 5 in a novice (13/2) at this C&D (good to firm) on debut 14 days ago, having been slowly away. Open to improvement.

Dubawi gelding out of this stable's 3-time Prix de La Foret winner One Master. Promising start to career, runner-up behind another useful sort (who won again subsequently) on debut and went close when second of 11 in maiden at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm) 18 days ago, clear of rest. The one to beat.

Travelled best when runner-up on soft ground at Ffos Las on debut but could only run to a similar level next time when second of 8 in novice (7/4) at Salisbury (7f, good to firm) 6 days ago, worn down by a newcomer in final furlong. Will need to step forward to get off the mark.

Good type physically and matched previous form shown on turf when finding just one too good on latest start upped to a mile at Southwell, kept on without being given a hard time of things. In good hands and should remain competitive back on turf.

Made some appeal on paper but was easy to back when eighth of 10 in novice at Doncaster (6f, firm) on debut 62 days ago. Will have learned plenty from that experience and no surprise to see him make more of an impact.

Night of Thunder filly. Half-sister to useful winner up to 1¼m Ejaabiyah. Dam, Australian 2-y-o 5f-6f (Group 1) winner, sister to smart 5f/6f winner Remarque. Wears hood for debut. Outstanding pedigree and is one to note for market support.

First run since leaving Andrew Balding when sixth of 12 in novice at Wetherby (7f, good to firm, 28/1) 29 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Should do better in time and looks one for handicaps.

Al Kazeem filly. Sister to several winners, including 7f winner Myal and 5.7f/6f winner Al Simmo, both useful, and closely related to 7f winner Poet's Magic. Likely to be an outsider on racecourse debut.

Forecasts

Headmaster (2/5), Golden Redemption (9/2), Tokyo Joe (7/1), Ertijaaj (8/1), Palio Di Siena (9/1), Grey Jaguar (16/1), Ziggy's Angel (20/1), Magic Music (80/1), Twilight Ice (80/1), Kingsclere (125/1)

17:00 Haydock - 18 July 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

HEADMASTER bumped into a useful prospect on debut and improved when a close second at Windsor, pulling clear of the rest. She can get off the mark at the third time of asking ahead of Grey Jaguar who showed more than enough to work with on debut and could well improve, while Tokyo Joe wasn't asked for everything on the all-weather last time and can be competitive back on turf. The well-bred Ertijaaj looks an interesting newcomer for the Roger Varian team and is one to note for support.
