9/4
Fair handicap chaser who made it 3 wins from her last 4 outings at Warwick in May. Shaped as if still in form when fell 2 out over C&D later that month before doing too much too soon on a rare hurdles start last time. Every chance he can regain the winning thread quickly returned to chasing.

4/1
Typically a weak finisher but did manage to get his in front over fences here last August. No promise on first 2 starts this term but returned to something like his best after only 3 days off when runner-up over C&D last month. No certainty to be in the same mood, however.

Raised her game when landing a Hereford handicap hurdle in March and followed up on chase debut at Plumpton the following month. However, she's looked far from a natural in this sphere, failing to complete next 2 starts before finishing third over C&D last month.

Dual winner in this sphere last season but ended his time with Chris Gordon out of sorts. Got back on track for a new yard when fourth at Fontwell in May and he's entitled to build on that effort with more severe headgear enlisted (first-time blinkers).

Forecasts

Mister Upton (2/1), Time To Bite (9/4), The Dream Goes On (10/3), Great D'Ange (4/1)

16:20 Newton Abbot - 14 July 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

With his latest effort over timber easy to strike a line through, Chris Honour's TIME TO BITE gets the verdict to regain the winning thread at the expense of Mister Upton, who made a promising enough start for his new yard at Fontwell in May and is entitled to strip fitter for that here. The untrustworthy Great d'Ange, who ran well over C&D recently, completes the shortlist.
