Capitalised on a falling mark returned to 6f when making all to win a 13-runner handicap at Thirsk 10 days ago, though he likely held a significant positional advantage on the favoured stands side rail. Drops in grade despite a 4 lb rise though circumstances unlikely to be as favourable this time.

4-time winner last year and made a successful reappearance at Chelmsford this season. Bounced back from a forgivable effort when runner-up at Newmarket over this trip 16 days ago, staying on off a sound pace. Reliable sort should give his running once again.

Four times a winner last year but unable to justify favouritism on first two starts this season and was easier to back when again below form at Carlisle (5.8f) on final run for Edward Bethell in May. On a fair mark and the market may guide expectations on debut for Philip Kirby.

Showed improved form returned to the all-weather when easily recording a first handicap success at Southwell (6.1f) in May, impressing in the final furlong. Up 9 lb but could still be well treated if able to translate that form to turf.

Racing off a much reduced mark nowadays and was gambled on following 4 months off shaping better than the beaten distance at Doncaster and unlucky not to finish much closer at Haydock 7 days ago (finished with running left). Clearly on a good mark and it would be no surprise to see him capitalise.

C&D winner is on a long losing run but was well suited by conditions when a strong-travelling third behind a pair of younger rivals at Ayr (6f, good to soft) 5 days ago. Ought to be competitive if in the same form with cheekpieces replacing blinkers.

Showed all his customary early speed when recording his first success over 6f in a 20-runner handicap here last month and has held his form in two subsequent starts. This is tougher however and there's little room for error off his current mark.

Landed a 6f hat-trick earlier in the season and is in much better heart than recent form figures suggest. not ideally placed on the wing when finishing midfield in a 6f Thirsk handicap 10 days ago. May not have seen the best of him as a sprinter yet.

Highly tried following debut success as a juvenile in 2023 but hasn't stood much racing since, for all he wasn't disgraced when last seen finishing fifth of 10 in a 5f all-weather handicap in January. Returns following a further 5 months off and would need a career best to win this.

C&D winner who not for the first time this term shaped a bit better than bare result when fifth of 11 in handicap at Sandown (5f, good) prior to running creditably having been well backed when third at Beverley (5f) 8 days ago. On a handy mark and has a good record over this C&D. Interesting.

Had a very productive 4-y-o campaign (won 3 times over 5f) and has looked every bit as good of late, underlining his consistency when runner-up at Nottingham over 5f in May. First go over 6f in a little while and will need to find some improvement to open his account for the season.

In good heart this season and arrives on the back of three very creditable efforts in similar events, those in front not coming back to quite soon enough when a staying on third at Haydock (6f) 7 days ago. Should go well again but will probably need a strong pace to get his head in front.

Yet to really fire this season and was well held over this C&D on latest start in May, although the race wasn't run to suit. Is gradually coming back down the weights but may need further leniency from the handicapper.

Three-time 6f winner last year and proving consistent this season latest a creditable fifth of 11 in a handicap at Newbury (7f, good to firm) 18 days ago, when better placed than most. Should give his running but likely to find a few too good again.

Plenty of creditable placed efforts this season and was well backed dropped to his last winning mark when 2½ lengths third of 5 to Frank The Spark in a handicap at Nottingham (5f, good) 7 days ago. Dropped another 1 lb but remains to be seen if he can capitalise back over 6f.

Enhanced fine course record by landing back-to-back 6f victories at Hamilton but undone by a 4 lb rise when fourth up in grade/trip at Carlisle (7f soft) last time, for all most of her winning has come on a sounder surface. Booking of Rossa Ryan catches the eye but needs to defy a career-high mark.

In excellent heart and made it two wins from last 4 starts (runner-up on the other occasions) when scoring under a patient ride at Doncaster (6f) 8 days ago, well positioned the way the race unfolded. Should remain competitive but yet to win off a mark this high.

As good as ever when winning an 8-runner handicap at Catterick (6f) in May but not in the same form when well held dropped in trip at Pontefract 12 days ago. Quickly returned to 6f but has more to do upped in grade.

JUAN LES PINS shaped better than the bare result for the second time in a week when finishing with running left at Haydock 7 days ago. He's threatening to come good and may capitalise on his falling handicap mark at the expense of Filly One who remains unexposed as a sprinter and could be dangerous if proving as effective on turf, while Good Earth has a good record over this C&D and has fallen to a handy mark, as has Spirit of Applause.
