Cost a whopping €1,900,000 at the breeze-ups and related to winners, notably the smart Beautiful Morning. Entered in the Group 1 National Stakes in the autumn. Likely to have a big say on debut.

Stepped up on debut when second of 13 in 6f Windsor novice but that level of form is short of what it usually takes to win this so he'll almost certainly need to improve again. Tongue tied first time.

Forecasts

Distant Storm (5/6), Oxagon (5/1), Constitution River (15/2), Venetian Prince (15/2), Exclusive Code (8/1), Billecart (9/1), Lost Signal (14/1), Catullus (20/1), Hengroin (20/1), Sword Maker (28/1), Oceans Four (50/1), Aspect Island (100/1), Raging Raj (200/1), Aneedahbeer (500/1)

16:10 Newmarket - 11 July 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

It's likely this will go to a newcomer, with the suggestion being very expensive breeze-up purchase DISTANT STORM, who is Group 1-entered in the autumn, before any market clues are known. The Gosden stable has a good recent record in this race so Oxagon rates another likely type. Constitution River and Billecart are other debutants with plenty to recommend them.
