Won a 13f bumper last autumn but failed to stay in a pair of 2m bumpers in January. Now switches to the Flat for his leading stable.

Kingman who saw off some useful opposition when making a winning debut over 1¼m at Leicester (good to firm) in April. Could be plenty more to come from him.

150,000 gns Galiway gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 11f Boomboom Kiss and 1¼m winner Wookie, both in Europe. Dam French 1¼m winner. Skimmer looks the stable first string unless the betting hints otherwise.

Ghaiyyath colt produced a promising first effort when second in maiden at Newmarket (1¼m) last autumn. Not in the same form when beaten at odds on in 12.5f Musselburgh maiden on reappearance in April. Given time since.

From a top yard but beaten just under 11 lengths when third on AW at Southwell last time. Cheekpieces on first time. Probably more one for handicaps after this.

Well backed 6/1 but finished last of 9 in novice at Newmarket (1¼m, good) on debut 84 days ago. Interesting to see whether he attracts any market support again.

Forecasts

Skimmer (6/5), Crown Imperial (5/2), Sea Of Kings (4/1), Ethelwulf (8/1), Ivatt (11/1), Gallic Legend (12/1), Gnomon (25/1), Scotland (28/1), Ashdown Forest (33/1), Ettore (40/1), Peaky Blinder (50/1), The Bellhop (50/1), Big Win (66/1), Mystical Mabel (150/1)

18:50 Kempton - 9 July 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An interesting novice. SKIMMER has had the form of his debut win boosted on a few occasions and might be up to defying a penalty but there are a few promising sorts against him, notably Crown Imperial who could leave the bare form of his Newbury debut in the spring behind. Sea of Kings and The Bellhop are others likely to have a say.
