Maiden who went backwards from his AW reappearance effort when last of 12 in handicap at Chester (6.1f, good to firm, 50/1) 26 days ago. This is a weaker contest now operating from a career-low mark at least and he can't be missed.

Modest form at best at 2 and ran to a similar level after 7 months off despite not being seen to best effect when sixth of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) 24 days ago. Needs to pull out more kept to the minimum trip.

Turned in best effort of the season when fourth in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) in May. Appeared stretched by longer trip when tenth of 11 in handicap at Chepstow (8.1f) 40 days ago and this return to sprinting can see him in a much better light. Blinkers on 1st time.

Dandy Man gelding who is still in search of first success but lines up having run well under a positive ride when third of 9 in handicap at Bath (5.7f, firm, 7/2) 14 days ago, headed final 1f and keeping on. A repeat should see him thereabouts again.

Ardad filly who bettered anything she'd achieved previously when second in handicap at Bath (5.7f) on penultimate start in May. Not in anything like the same form when last of 10 in minor event back at that same C&D 33 days ago but no great surprise to see her bounce back.

Cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable fifth of 9 in handicap at Bath (5.7f, firm, 16/1) 14 days ago, staying on final 1f. No forlorn hope with his mark having eased a little more.

A far from consistent bunch on the whole but ROGUE ENDEAVOUR does at least arrive on the back of a good third at Bath 2 weeks ago and another positive ride dropped back to the minimum trip ought to see him firmly in the picture again. Son of Astar will find this less demanding than his Chester assignment last time and is feared. Flicka's Girl is also worth a second look from a career-low mark.
