Fair form in 1m events at Newbury and Kempton last autumn, and again when third on return in a Windsor novice over the same trip last month. Entitled to come on for that and appeals as the type to show himself in a better light now upped in trip for this handicap debut.

Sea The Stars colt looked potentially useful when a debut winner at Doncaster in September. Things didn't go to plan next 3 starts, but subsequently gelded and firmly back on track when a clear second upped to this trip in a fast-ground Redcar handicap 15 days ago. Big player.

Improved on the AW since joining present yard, winning 3 of his 8 starts for Dylan Cunha. Struggled initially after returning to turf, but recent Newmarket (1½m, good) second was right up there with the best of his form on artificial surfaces and he's not without each-way hope here.

On the up in recent months, bagging handicaps at Haydock and Leicester prior to losing little caste in defeat when finding one too good in his hat-trick bid over this C&D (good) last month. Likely to give another good account, for all that some of these seemingly possess greater potential.

Has improved with each of his 3 starts so far, most recently benefiting from the step up to this trip at Windsor (good) where he chased home the potentially Group-class Nahraan. Wasn't knocked about there and further progress likely now pitched into a handicap.

Signed off 2-y-o campaign with a near-miss in a 7f Kempton nursery. Gelded during the winter and progress has not been forthcoming in a couple of 1m handicaps this season, so hopes now pinned on this step up in trip sparking improvement.

Predictably stepped up on what he showed in maiden/novice company when scoring upped to this trip on handicap debut at Yarmouth (good to firm) in April. That form is nothing special, but he's in good hands and a 7 lb rise may well prove to be manageable given his scope for further improvement.

Has run more good races than bad ones, not least when when finding just one too strong over this trip back from a break at Goodwood in May. However, record now stands at 0-9 and he'll need to find improvement from somewhere in order to turn the tide here.

Forecasts

Yabher (9/4), Jupiter Ammon (5/2), Dissident (9/2), Keble Spirit (7/1), Antelope (8/1), Life Is Rosie (12/1), Love You Back (12/1), One More Chrome (12/1), Troy Story (14/1), Mighty Boy (20/1), Northwest Passage (22/1), Patrol (33/1)

16:45 Sandown - 5 July 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

YABHER pulled clear of the rest with the winner when going down narrowly on his first run over this trip at Redcar and, still on an attractive mark following a 4 lb nudge, he is taken to strike for his in-form yard. Jupiter Ammon chased home a potentially very useful (if not smart) colt at Windsor and he is feared most with improvement likely now handicapping. Dissident and Keble Spirit are also appealing types, while Love You Back could have a part to play, too.
