High Noon Pineapple Vodka Soda Handicap

Ran well when twice runner-up at Southwell (AW) in March/April but couple of heavy defeats on turf of late, latterly when last of 19 in 6f handicap at York (50/1) 21 days ago. Needs to recapture AW form down in class.

Won 7.6f turf handicap at Lingfield (22/1) in first-time cheekpieces 35 days ago and confirmed that improvement from revised mark when second of 7 in 7f handicap at Newbury (3/1) 11 days ago, cheekpieces continuing to have a positive effect. Looks the one to beat.

Showed promise when second of 6 in novice at Lingfield (3/1) in January before finishing sixth of 9 in novice at Southwell (2/1) 18 days ago on return from 5 months off. Making handicap debut for successful yard.

Yet to win in 8 starts with best effort when third at Newmarket in October. Finished sixth of 9 in handicap back at that venue (33/1) 15 days ago, though didn't travel with much fluency.

Won on AW at Lingfield (25/1) in December but no impact both starts upon return, seventh of 8 in handicap at Sandown (14/1) 21 days ago, never threatening after awkward start. Needs to prove herself on turf.

Won a 7f AW maiden at Wolverhampton in April but has been well beaten in two subsequent handicap starts, fifth of 7 in 9f handicap at Sandown (33/1) 21 days ago, making little impression after being held up. Back in trip.

Won a novice race on second start at Newcastle but unplaced in both handicap runs, most recently sixth of 10 in handicap at Kempton (10/1) 61 days ago. Tries cheekpieces on turf debut.

Cemented solid start for this yard when second of 7 in AW handicap at Chelmsford (7/1) 23 days ago, keeping on strongly. First-time tongue strap applied and he needs considering.
