Showed ability in maiden/novice company and much improved when off the mark on handicap debut at Newbury (10f) 38 days ago, by 1¼ lengths from Channagide. Likely type to progress further now he's up and running and he's a player.

11/1, career best when winning 13-runner handicap at Goodwood (9.9f, good to firm) 10 days ago, looking well suited by the strong gallop. Should give his best again but he was behind a couple of these at Newbury back in May.

Lightly-raced sort who confirmed promise of his handicap debut second at Nottingham when winning 6-runner handicap at Redcar (10f, good to firm) 27 days ago, with bit in hand. Nice type physically and very much the type to progress again.

An interesting race despite the small field with the narrow vote in favour of JET BLACK. Andrew Balding's filly was allowed the run of things but ultimately scored with a bit in hand at Redcar 4 weeks ago and, with plenty to like about her physically, she very much appeals as the type to go on improving this term. Newbury 1-2 Zarakerjack and Channagide can provide the lead threats, in that order.
