Winner of Yarmouth maiden at 2 yrs and successful twice in 6f handicaps on the AW last year. However, she resumes for new connections on a tough-looking mark. Has undergone a wind op.

Largely disappointing in 2024, but this C&D winner got back on the scoresheet when landing a 7-runner Ripon handicap (6f, good to firm) on return last month. She wasn't in anything like the same form at Hamilton next time, though, and others make more appeal.

Confirmed debut promise when winning a 6f Southwell maiden in October before showing improved form upped to listed class when second at Deauville. Backed that up when fourth of 11 on return (also in listed company) at Haydock (6f, good to firm) and she merits respect on this handicap bow.

Won at Doncaster last season for Karl Burke and shaped really well from an uncompromising position on his first run for new connections at Wolverhampton in December. Little impact back from a break at Haydock, but she should be sharper now and is not a forlorn hope.

Twice a winner at Southwell this year and has followed her latest success in March with a string of creditable efforts in defeat. However, while she's a pretty reliable proposition on the AW, 3 of her 4 runs on turf last year resulted in pretty subdued performances.

Boasts a good strike rate on the AW having won 5 of her 23 starts on synthetics. Successful on turf, too, but that was back in 2023 and she finished nearer last than first returned to grass at Newmarket last time.

Consistent for Iain Jardine last year and has continued the good work for new yard this spring, going close on return at Doncaster prior to resuming winning ways at Carlisle (5.8f, good to firm). Stamina seemingly stretched back up to 7f at Haydock since and she's a player back down in trip.

Came up short in Group company following C&D debut success last year and her first run in a handicap proved to be something of a let-down, finishing a well-held sixth in the Ripon contest won by Tropical Island last month. Opposable.

Won 2 of his 4 starts last year and back on the up when proving ½-length too good for Mostar Dreams at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) at the end of April. Actually now 1 lb better off with that rival and she's a big player for her leading yard.

French import who has made a solid start for new connections, building on her reappearance fourth at Kempton when just touched off at Chester (6f, good) recently. 2 lb nudge fair enough and while this is a higher-grade handicap, she's a live each-way candidate.

Confirmed debut promise when landing 6-runner maiden at Catterick and improved again when second of 6 in nursery at Ripon on final 2-y-o start. Shaped well when third of 11 on return/handicap bow at Haydock (6f, good to firm) and she's a must for the shortlist.

Followed Southwell debut near miss with a couple of rather low-key displays, but she took a sizeable step forward when landing a 6f Yarmouth novice in good style last month. May well have more to offer for top connections now making the switch to handicap company.

Found some improvement to get off the mark at the seventh time of asking in a 6f Kempton novice in March, proving 3½ lengths too strong for Greydreambeliever. Not disgraced both starts since (wasn't far behind Lady of Andros at Chester last time), but this demands a clear career-best.

EASY PEELER made a promising start to the season when third in the 6f Haydock handicap won by the progressive Maelstrom and, likely to come on for that run, she could be the answer to this competitive handicap. Pelean is also open to improvement and is next on the list ahead of another last-time-out winner representing a top yard in the shape of Raneenn. Cases can also be made for Mostar Dreams and Rogue Sensation.
