11/1
Multiple winner during 2022/23 campaign and didn't shape at all badly back from a 14-month absence at Huntingdon in January. However, failed to build on that in trio of starts since, running no sort of race when last of 5 at Stratford (18.7f) 4 weeks ago. Visor goes on in place of cheekpieces.

Didn't progress from a promising debut run in maiden/novice hurdles but back on track after 10 weeks off when second of 6 in a C&D handicap 4 weeks ago. Remains sufficiently lightly raced to think that won't prove his limit and he's worth a second look.

Lightly-raced type who ran out an emphatic winner on handicap debut at Fontwell (21.7f) 2 starts back, powering clear of the placed pair late on. Fell early in his follow-up bid back at that venue 11 days ago but he undoubtedly remains with potential, not least over staying trips.

Little show in first 4 outings but much improved with a first-time hood fitted when third of 8 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (19.9f, good) 19 days ago, keeping on again final 1f having been outpaced. Further increase in trip could well see him in an even better light here.

8-y-o mare who shaped better than previously when 12 lengths third of 16 in 2½m Uttoxeter handicap in December 2022. Clearly not been the easiest to train to have been absent since but she returns operating from a basement mark so interesting if the market spoke in her favour.

22/1
Modest hurdles winner during early 2022 who hasn't showed much in 4 starts since returning from a lengthy absence, eighth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Wincanton (15.2f, soft) 91 days ago. Has plenty to prove with a tongue tie added.

12/1
Poor maiden hurdler/chaser who wasn't disgraced when third of 7 in handicap chase at Southwell (24.3f) 51 days ago. Returns to hurdling again operating from long way out of the weights and suspicion is he'll fall short again.

Forecasts

Cher Monsieur (5/4), Getuptheyard (10/3), Ferret Jeeter (7/2), Jack's Jury (4/1), Pooroldmackley (6/1), Colonial Empire (11/1), Inspector Lynley (12/1), Mistertommyshelby (12/1), Talk Of The Moon (14/1), Mind Hunter (22/1)

19:55 Ffos Las - 5 June 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Having run out an emphatic winner on his belated return/handicap debut at Fontwell last month, FERRET JEETER got no further than the second in his follow-up bid at that venue 11 days ago. However, Anthony Honeyball's 8-y-o undoubtedly remains with potential, not least over staying trips, and he's well worth another chance to get back on the up. Getuptheyard has held his form well since returning to action and is an obvious danger. Jack's Jury and Pooroldmackley should also be thereabouts.
