Progressed well during 2024, winning 4 times over 6f. Only disappointments in 4 starts since have come on ground faster than good and he ran well when fourth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 20 days ago. Cheekpieces go on but he wouldn't want it to dry out too much.

Progressive sprint handicapper for this yard, winning 3 times on soft/heavy during second half of last year and proved himself as good as ever when third of 19 in handicap at Doncaster on reappearance in March. Definite possibilities from unchanged mark.

Upwardly mobile following wind surgery (also gelded) last season, taking another sizeable step forward when doubling his career tally in clear-cut fashion at Goodwood (6f) in September. No surprise to see him pick up where he left off and lots to like for in-form yard.

Consistent sort who scored 4 times on AW during the winter and continued the good work on turf in recent weeks, not pushing it to say he may well have won with a clear run when finishing head second at Doncaster (6f) latest. This tougher but respected nevertheless in this groove.

Again paid his way last season with victories in a couple of 6f handicaps at Thirsk. All the better for reappearance when just touched off over 5f back at that venue 4 weeks ago and return to this longer trip in his favour for all this is a deeper affair.

Tough sort who deservedly resumed winning ways from the front in a change of headgear in 9-runner handicap at Doncaster (6.5f) in September. Busy spell may have caught up with him thereafter and entitled to be sharper for his Windsor reappearance 19 days ago. Blinkers go back on.

Tremendous servant to connections who confirmed he's still every inch a useful performer aged 11 when make a winning return in 13-runner handicap at Ripon (6f) 44 days ago. 1 lb rise for that should see him competitive again for all this is a stronger contest.

Hasn't won since 2022 but has been running with credit on the all-weather over the winter, though too keen to do himself justice over 7f at Kempton in March. Handicap mark has eased further ahead of this return to turf with Oisin Murphy back onboard and he's an each-way player.

Useful handicapper who tasted success twice in 6f, AW handicaps during first half of last year for Richard Hannon. Has yet to scale same heights in trio of starts for new yard since the spring but his mark is easing all the time, so certainly not one to be writing off.

Progressed well during 2024, winning 4 times including over C&D. Returned as good as ever, confirming his turn is not far away once more when just edged out in 13-runner handicap at Newcastle (6f) 51 days ago. Nudged up 1 lb on the back of that but well worthy of respect back on turf.

Successful 3 times on AW from 7 starts last year and better than he could show on first 2 starts back this time around. However, subsequent runs have been underwhelming, soon under pressure and beaten long way out when last of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (6f) 6 weeks ago. Bounce back called for.

Heavy ground C&D scorer from 2 lb lower mark last summer who failed to scale same heights on final 3 starts of last term. Didn't find things going his way (finished with running left) when ninth of 19 on return in handicap at Doncaster (6f) 62 days ago but he wouldn't be sure to build on that.

C&D winner in July who doubled his tally for the season in heavy ground handicap at Leicester (5f) in October. Signed off with a creditable third of 8 in handicap at Newbury (6f) later that month but his revised mark does demand that little bit more on return to action.

Consistent type who registered 4 victories last term (3 over C&D) and back on the scoresheet at Beverley (5f) in April. Each of his 2 efforts in stronger company suggests he remains in good heart and the drop back into class 3 company rates a definite plus. Each-way claims.

DURHAM CASTLE proved most progressive during a light 3-y-o campaign, making a mockery of his opening mark when a clear-cut winner at Goodwood (6f) when last seen in September. Very much the type to progress further, he's fancied to make a bold bid to defy a 9 lb rise with his yard going well. Fine Interview also progressed nicely last term and is a big danger following his excellent reappearance third at Doncaster. Kodi Lion, Grant Wood and Sergeant Wilko are also considered.
