Lightly-raced maiden who stepped up on his comeback run when fifth of 9 in handicap (11/2) at Newcastle (10.2f) 18 days ago, left poorly placed. Cheekpieces/tongue tie applied now and he's far less exposed than most.

Ex Irish gelding who showed fairly useful form when third on debut in a Navan maiden (1m) in autumn 2023. Below that level both starts thereafter, fifteenth of 18 in maiden at the Curragh (7f) 13 months ago. Joined new yard for 4,000 gns after but he's tough to assess on handicap bow.

Confirmed more encouraging signs displayed at Thirsk in a change of headgear when winning 12-runner handicap at Beverley (8.4f, good to firm, 12/1) 16 days ago, always holding on. 4 lb rise looks fair and he's fancied to give another good account.
