Jefe Triunfo50
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: Rex Dingle| T: C Gordon
22/1
Won on Worcester debut in May 2023. Not seen again until ninth of 14 at Huntingdon last month, looking second or third best until his absence told. Entitled to strip fitter now but jockey booking suggest the stable has stronger candidates elsewhere.

Diamond Boy gelding. Brother to a point winner. One to note on debut for a yard with a healthy bumper strike-rate.

4/5
Yeats gelding. Dam unraced. Top Irish stable has an outstanding bumper record and he's likely the one to beat, particularly if the betting speaks for him.

Left October's debut well behind when winning C&D bumper in January, just holding on. It's likely more will be needed again under a penalty.

Forecasts

Emerald Poet (4/5), Le Beau Madrik (9/2), General Briar (5/1), Fortune Timmy (8/1), Roi Du Risk (14/1), Emerald Lad (16/1), Kajikia (18/1), Jefe Triunfo (22/1)

17:35 Plumpton - 21 April 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Willie Mullins had a first-time-out bumper winner in these silks at the recent Scottish Grand National meeting and can repeat the feat with EMERALD POET. The chief threat may come from title-rival Dan Skelton newcomer Le Beau Madri. Emerald Lad is another much respected debutant, with General Briar, one of 3 for Chris Gordon, possibly best of those with bumper experience.
