Tip Top Clean Convenience Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Course winner who looked as good as ever when scoring at Newbury in December, suited by the return to front-running tactics. Backed that up with 3 good placed efforts and can go well again.

Overall record is rather patchy but he resumed progress with an easy win at Wincanton and backed that up with an even better performance at Hereford. Hit with another 10 lb rise but he's much respected in current mood.

Winner of the Old Roan on the Mildmay Course at Aintree in October 2023 and signed off last term with a good effort in a valuable Punchestown handicap. Mostly disappointed since, though latest sixth in the Topham was decent. Needs to back that up.

Useful 2m chase winner in May 2023. Well held first 3 starts this season after 18 months off but belatedly proved he retains plenty of ability when third at Ascot 3 weeks ago. On a competitive mark on old form and his excellent spring record provides plenty of optimism for another good showing.

Very smart handicap chaser at best for Fergal O'Brien but has looked a shadow of his former self this season having been off for the best part of 2 years.

Mixed record switched to fences last season but left reappearance behind when making all at Wetherby, unchallenged. However, only fourth at Kelso next time and others looks more solid.

Both wins over fences gained at Kempton, including when making all over 2¼m on return in October. Remained in good form since and did too much too soon there latest.

Doubled his tally over fences at Wincanton in November. Runner-up next 3 starts but recent efforts suggest he's gone off the boil.

Three-time winner over fences last season. Mixed record this term but latest second at Uttoxeter was a good effort. Needs to back that up.
