Fairly useful form in bumpers for Ewan Whillans and belatedly built on a promising hurdling debut to get off the mark in 8-runner novice at Carlisle (19.3f) last month, jumping on 2 out and asserting final 50 yds. Followed up under a penalty at Kelso (20.9f) but this demands more.
£60,000 buy after Irish point win in April and left sole run in bumper behind when winning 4-runner novice hurdle at Plumpton (20.5f, good) in November. Followed up without needing to improve at Sedgefield on Boxing Day and merits respect under a double penalty.
Showed more like his French form when off the mark for current yard in 6-runner maiden hurdle at this course (19.6f, good) 21 days ago, drawing clear before last. More needed under a penalty.
Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1¾m) and showed fair form when placed in a couple of maiden hurdles in late summer. Well held on completed stat over fences but can make presence felt now reverting to the smaller obstacles.
