Runner-up sole outing in Irish points but has made no impact in bumper/3 starts over hurdles. Hopes rest on subsequent breathing operation.

Has shaped well on a couple of occasions over hurdles, paying the price late on for eye-catching move to the front when third if 14 in 2½m Wetherby maiden in February. Could never land a blow switched to handicap company at Sandown but this is easier.

£30,000 3-y-o, £130,000 4-y-o, Jack Hobbs gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Lofgren and modest chaser Gatacre Street. Runner-up in an Irish point and promising start to Rules career when a keeping-on third at Ffos Las in November. Big player with more to come.

£85,000 buy after winning an Irish point in May and placed all 5 starts over hurdles, albeit expensive to follow having failed to land the odds the last twice. Drops back in trip and sure to the bang there again.

€54,000 3-y-o, Telescope gelding. Half-brother to useful hurdler/very smart chaser Kylemore Lough. Placed both completed starts in Irish points but limited impact in a bumper in February. Step up in trip will help now hurdling.

Milan gelding. Brother to fairly useful hurdler winner/chaser Charles Ritz. Off the mark in points at third attempt in December but low-key hurdles debut 3 weeks ago.

Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1¾m), successful once in 2024, distant second in Irish St Leger Trial last time: has left Adrian Murray and rates a fascinating contender on hurdles debut for Paul Nicholls.
