Off the mark in a Thurles maiden last February and has improved in handicaps this season. Travelled smoothly when fourth in a valuable 25-runner Leopardstown handicap hurdle in February and suited by test of speed when landing a Thurles handicap (22f) next time. Further improvement not ruled out.

Three-time winner as a novice and improved again to land a brace of handicaps in November. Consistent since and ran his best of the season in defeat when runner-up in the Martin Pipe (20.3f) only bettered by a graded mare, finishing in a manner than would suggest 3m is within his reach. Player.

Won a Grade 2 as a novice and a course handicap on return. Bounced back from a disappointing run when runner-up (in first-time tongue tie - retained) over this trip at Doncaster, suited by the emphasis on speed. Strong-travelling sort could be suited the demands of a big-field handicap. Respected.

Winner of a Fairyhouse handicap (22.2f) last season and again ran creditably returned to that venue (with cheekpieces refitted) when 10¾ lengths fifth of 16 to Barry Lyndon in a handicap hurdle 42 days ago. Remains to be seen if she can back that up in a stronger race.

Ran one of his lesser races quickly reverted to hurdles after 2 days off when eleventh of 18 in handicap hurdle at Galway (22.5f, soft) in August and was last seen finishing down the field in the Irish Cesarewitch back on the level. Looks an outsider on his return to hurdles after 6-months off.

Recorded his third career success (in first-time tongue tie - retained) when well-suited by a truly-run 2½m at Fairyhouse last time, keeping on well. His run style and pedigree offer hope that he'll stay this longer trip and he cannot be totally dismissed.

£225,000 recruit off mark on hurdles bow before dominating a Grade 2 at Sandown (19.8f) on soft. Shaped second-best when third in the Grade 1 Challow in December but found less than looked likely when third at Cheltenham (20.2f) the following month. Interesting upped to 3m in first-time tongue-tie.

Bumper winner and went 2-3 in novice hurdles. Has been inconsistent this season but has creditable form in handicaps when on a going day, narrowly defeated in a valuable Windsor handicap in January and matched that effort when sixth of 24 in the Martin Pipe. May well see the best of him over fences.

2-2 in handicaps, showing much improved form winning 8-runner handicap hurdle at Down Royal (20f, good) 19 days ago, scoring comfortably having travelled well, his performance backed up by a solid timefigure. Shapes as though he could be even better at 3m. Unexposed and merits serious consideration.

Creditable sixth of 18 in handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival (22.5f, soft) and confirmed that promise when landing a 3m Perth handicap next time, showing a likeable attitude. In good heart when third on the Flat final run of last season and could be a live outsider having gone well fresh before.

Winner over 2½m at Gowran in October and even better form when runner-up in Listed handicaps at Naas and Leopardstown (both 2½m again) at the end of 2024. Underlined his consistency when respectable fifth of 24 in the Martin Pipe and he looks worth another go at this longer trip.

Veteran reeled off 3 wins in 4 starts over fences and hurdles last summer and remained in fine form when a narrow runner-up at Hexham (23.3f) when last seen in October. Has gone well fresh in the past but faces a tougher task upped in class taking on younger/less-exposed rivals.

Won a remarkable 6 handicaps on the trot between March and November last month. Improved when unlucky to be denied a 7-timer at Ascot in December and might have won again but for a final flight blunder at Kempton (21f) last time. Hasn't reached his limit yet and there could be more to come over 3m.

Back to very best following wind surgery when winning readily at Newbury and maintained that form when hitting the frame in a pair of 3m handicaps, typically ridden patiently. Never threatened under those tactics when disappointing in the Coral Cup (21f) but has place claims if this is run to suit.

Won 3 of his first 4 handicaps and has found even more improvement in recent starts, landing a Exeter Pertemps qualifier in February prior to an excellent third in the Final, coming from further back than the pair that beat him. Leading player for trainer who has won last two renewals of this race.

Had been fairly consistent for current yard, finishing a promising fourth of 12 in a decent handicap at Windsor (24f, good to soft) on penultimate run, but well-held at Sandown in testing conditions in February, the ground and quick turnaround possibly against him. Could bounce back after a break.

Grade 2 Cheltenham novice hurdle winner last term returned to this sphere (having not taken to chasing) with a creditable second 25f Huntingdon handicap in January. Unsuited by drop in trip at Warwick (21f) next time, but little excuse when disappointing in the Pertemps final. Needs more.

TIMMY TUESDAY has won both his handicap starts to date, the latest when clocking a decent timefigure over 2½m at Down Royal. He's totally unexposed as a stayer and there could be more improvement to come tackling 3m for the first time. Dan Skelton arrives with a strong hand in his bid for a hat-trick in this race, and Catch Him Derry may be the pick having come from an unlikely position to finish third in the Pertemps final. Bo Zenith looks interesting tried in headgear over this longer trip.
