Flat winner in France who readily landed juvenile hurdle at this venue in December 2023 before disappointing the following month. Needed the run after 13 months off when well-held at Sandown 3 weeks ago. Should come on for that but connections quick to reach for headgear (tongue-tie/cheekpieces).

Returned to form with winning reappearance (Leicester 15.5f) but hasn't been able to get his head in front from higher marks since, despite performing with some credit. Tried in first-time visor and while he should run his race again, he's still a couple of pounds above his last winning mark.

Best effort in final qualifying run when third of 12 in novice hurdle at Plumpton (15.9f, good to soft), although was well-positioned in how the race unfolded. Makes handicap debut with little room for error from his opening mark.

Consistent type has been steadily progressive since the end of last season, again performing with credit when only bettered by an improver last month (Taunton, 19f). Races off a career high mark but not ruled out in his current form.

Course winner (17.7f, heavy) last season and having needed his reappearance, did way too much too soon when down the field at Lingfield 23 days ago, shaping better than the beaten distance suggests. Both wins have been on more testing ground but might be seen to better effect for this longer trip.

Having often raced keenly (including when landing a bumper last season) connections have taken their time with this mare and she did settle better when fourth in a decent race for the grade (winner entered in Saturday's Imperial Cup) last time. She could be an improver if relaxing over longer trip.

Disappointing over hurdles last season/fences this season. Handicap mark has plummeted which prompted a slightly more encouraging effort when fourth of 12 at Chepstow (19.4f, heavy) last month. Fairly handicapped and the question is whether he can build on that effort under different conditions.

Still a maiden but has shown enough promise in handicaps to suggest he is capable off this sort of mark. Was given a very considerate return to action following a 10-month absence last time and could be open to improvement on the back of that effort. Interesting and one to note in the betting.

Promising third of 11 in a Downpatrick bumper for Paul Nolan in September but comfortably held in novice hurdles for Nick Gifford in recent months. Improvement required on handicap hurdle debut.

Fair on Flat for Joseph O'Brien but well-beaten in 3 juvenile hurdles for current yard. Did offer minor promise on handicap debut when fourth of 6 at Plumpton (15.9f), although never looked like winning. Races from 5 lb out of handicap and needs to take another step forward for this longer trip.

Lightly-raced WHAT'S ONE MORE settled better when fourth in a higher grade last time and granted a fair pace to aim at on this occasion, there could be more improvement to come over this longer trip. Forgiven his latest effort, Copper Cove may be seen to better effect now back up in distance while Decorated and Tea and Chats both look fairly treated if they can put it all together.
