Fairly useful hurdler was unable to sustain any progress over fences this season but proved as good as ever back over the smaller obstacles, finishing second over C&D in a stronger race than he faces on this occasion. Plenty to like about his chances.

Lightly-raced sort fared little better in first-time blinkers when fourth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Navan (21.8f, heavy) earlier this month. Clearly one of the excellent stable's lesser lights but worth monitoring for market support with Sean Bowen taking the mount.
