Debut bumper winner was progressive in novice/maiden hurdles, looking a straightforward operator when making all to land a Carlisle maiden in November. Clearly not himself when pulled-up (having bled) on handicap debut and this looks a good opportunity (under a penalty) to regain his confidence.

Modest handicapper at best on Flat (stays 1½m) who ran to a similar level on hurdling debut before failing to see out his race when too keen at Newcastle last month. Could be one for handicaps down the line.

Failed to meet expectations in bumpers for Nicky Richards and no promise in four starts for current yard. Opposable.

Third on only outing in Irish points and showed a bit in bumper/maiden hurdles in recent months. However, he appeals as a likely longer-term project, including when tackling 2½m.

Hinted at ability when fifth of 12 in a Carlisle novice hurdle on debut in this sphere but subsequent display at Wetherby couldn't be described as a step forward. Best to look elsewhere.

Useful juvenile over 17f in France, winning 2 of his last 3 starts, with the form of his latest success at Clairefontaine in September having worked out particularly well. Failed to meet expectations on stable debut but is worth another chance back in calmer waters wearing first time tongue-tie.

Half-brother to numerous winners, including bumper winner/useful hurdler Zulu Oscar but didn't show enough in bumpers to make him of strong interest on hurdles debut.

Both market principals arrive with something to prove, but WE'RE RED AND BLUE can bounce back under the same positive tactics that were employed when he was successful at Carlisle on his penultimate run. Maitre En Science is the standout danger and could be much better than he showed on stable debut. Burning It Up can collect some minor prize money on his way to contesting handicaps.
