No great shakes in a couple of points and efforts in this sphere to date have been underwhelming. Down in trip for handicap debut and others preferred.

Shaped well when runner-up in bumper at Warwick in October 2023 and although not seen to best effect in novice hurdles, he's been given a realistic mark (his dam won off 122 for this yard). Merits serious consideration on handicap debut, particularly if the market speaks in his favour.

Showed minor promise when seventh of 14 in a novice hurdle (80/1) at Exeter (16.7f, heavy) 18 days ago and looks another who will improve for the switch to handicaps.

Found improvement when getting off the mark in 8-runner handicap hurdle at Hereford (16.2f) in November. Respectable efforts from inflated mark both starts subsequently around there and subsequently dropped 2 lb. That could give her a squeak with top jockey taking over in the saddle.

Bumper winner but has yet to reach that level over hurdles. Showed up for a while in first-time blinkers when seventh of 8 in a novice hurdle at Leicester (15.5f, heavy, 50/1) but faded badly after 2 out. Needs more.

Runner-up completed start in Irish points but little to shout about in all five outings over hurdles. Failed to improve for stiffer test (21.6f, Exeter) when pulled up 30 days ago and has a bit to prove back down in distance.

Maiden hurdler from eight attempts but returned to form when third at Wincanton (15.3f, soft) earlier this month. Entitled to build on that and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him get his head in front in this kind of company.

Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 12.5f) but has shown little in 3 starts over hurdles this term. Needs this switch to handicaps to spark major improvement.

Lightly-raced maiden hurdler who was pulled up on final run of last season and returned with a disappointing effort when ninth of 11 in a handicap hurdle at Plumpton (20.5f, good to soft) 46 days ago. Down in trip and wears blinkers for the first time but easy to look elsewhere.

Modest handicapper on Flat and well held in novice/maiden hurdles. Tough ask on handicap hurdle debut racing from 4 lb out of the weights.

It would be significant if there is any strong market support for handicap debutantes OUT OUT and Donald Llewellyn and Dan Skelton's charge is preferred with race-fitness on his side making only the fifth start of his career for the yard, who won three races with the dam of this gelding. Of those with handicap form, Bredon Hill Dart and Just Aidan have both shown enough to suggest they are capable of going close in a race of this nature.
