Placed twice in bumpers and ran to a fair level again when 11 lengths fourth on hurdle debut at Plumpton 6 weeks ago. Open to progress.

€150,000 3-y-o, Jukebox Jury gelding. Closely related to useful hurdler/chaser Danny Kirwan, stayed 3m and half-brother to 2 winners, including high-class hurdler/chaser Appreciate It. Lots to like on paper starting out for top stable and he's one to note.

Mount Nelson gelding. Placed on sole outing in points and, strong in betting, shaped encouragingly amidst inexperience when second of 9 in a Southwell bumper (15.8f) back in May. Type to make his mark as a hurdler and interesting if market speaks in his favour on return.

Has a reasonable jumping pedigree and showed promise amidst inexperience when third of 9 in novice hurdle at Leicester (20.5f, heavy) on debut 37 days ago. Likely to improve.

Fair form on 2 of his 3 outings in bumpers and has made a promising start over hurdles, again finding only a useful prospect too good when runner-up in a 10-runner novice at Catterick (19.3f, good, 6/4) 14 days ago. Player.

Consistent sort who made the frame again when creditable second of 5 in handicap hurdle (2/1) here (23.9f, heavy) last month. Perhaps vulnerable to a couple of improvers back in maiden company but should give another good account.

Soldier Of Fortune mare who has offered little in maiden/mares' novice company at this course in recent months. Low-grade handicaps will be more suitable in due course.

Beat one other finisher when winning an Irish point but finished down the field in a Hereford bumper 2 years ago and she'll surely need to leave that form well behind.

Bought for £50,000 after getting off the mark in Irish points at the third attempt and showed a fairly useful level of form when winning 2 of her 3 starts in bumpers last season. Plenty of promise when a clear second at Lingfield on her hurdles bow and she's open to plenty of improvement.

Dual bumper winner JASMINE BLISS pulled a long way clear with one that has since scored in listed company on her hurdles debut and sets a good standard with the promise of more still to come. The suspicion also remains that we've yet to see the best of Juventus de Brion and he rates the chief threat, with Tamarind Bay and the Henderson-trained newcomer Johnny's Jury completing the shortlist.
