Winter Ladies Raceday Saturday 25th January Handicap Hurdle

Brushed off a disappointing run over fences when winning a C&D handicap a year ago. Followed that with a string of below-par efforts until a fifth-place finish on the back of a breathing op at Worcester in June. May have needed last month's reappearance and he's back in trip.

Successful sole outing in Irish points and has placed first 3 starts over hurdles, displaying progressive form. Sent off a strong favourite but disappointing at Plumpton last month. Since had a breathing op. One to consider

Landed a bumper for Dan Skelton in 2022. Missed whole of following year but runner-up in a Wincanton maiden in March. Probably needed run when last of 16 in Cheltenham handicap last month but didn't fare any better at Lingfield latest.

Fair maiden on Flat who showed a good attitude to get off the mark in this sphere at Exeter in March 2023. Placed all 6 starts that year and off the track a year, he shaped as though retaining all of his ability over C&D 3 weeks ago.

Has shown only poor form over hurdles and dropped away before 2 out under a change of tactics at Ffos Las last month. Tongue strap on down in trip.

Fairly useful dual Flat winner. Yet to get near that level over hurdles, often proving too free, as he did on return from1 8 months off at Chepstow. That was a sound effort though and he's in good hands.

Runner-up on the last of 3 outings in points and showed a bit on Rules debut at Kelso in October. Suffered heavy defeats since, though, including on handicap debut. Hood fitted back over 2m.

Still to get her head in front but she posted a good second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Leicester, closing all way to line. Never able to land a blow at Exeter since and a visor is now on.

Fair winner at 10f on Flat but not reached that level in this sphere.

Poor maiden hurdler who merely plodded on for fourth of 8 on handicap debut in September.

Modest winner at 10f on the Flat. First form in this sphere when third of 9 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (16.5f, good) but could never land a blow in the mud at Exeter latest.
