Tanners Wines Handicap Hurdle (Female Amateur Jockeys)

Dual hurdles/chase winner who was largely disappointing during a light 2023/24 campaign for Toby Lawes and offered little starting out for a new yard at Cheltenham last month. Easily passed over.

Resumed winning ways at Worcester (2½m, good to soft) in June and backed it up with a good third at Southwell 5 months later. Likely to be on the premises once more.

Ex-French performer who was steadily progressive last season, best effort yet when second of in juvenile hurdle at Angers (16.9f) in March. Pulled up at Sandown on debut for this yard, leaving him with a bit to prove.

Got back on the up with victory in 7-runner conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle at Warwick (19f, soft) in November and no disgrace in pulling a long way clear with a progressive sort at Southwell since. Can get back to winning ways here.

Improved to win 10-runner handicap chase (8/1) at Worcester (20f, good) 153 days ago. Switches from chase to hurdles. Still unexposed for this yard and can go well again if tuned up.

Gained a fourth win of a very productive first half of the season when striking under this rider at this track (21f, good to soft) in November and perfectly solid showing when third here since. Drop back in trip is in his favour, so deserves plenty of respect.

Placed 3 times in handicap hurdles last winter. Well below par in 2 outings in the summer and no better at this course after a break recently. Others preferred.

Recorded back-to-back wins at Hereford (both at 21.7f) last year and back on the scoresheet with cheekpieces refitted at Worcester (20f) in June. Exploits mixed subsequently but ran well at Hereford three weeks ago and stable continues in good form.
