Well-bred, rangy sort who overcame a lengthy absence to land a 6-runner Leicester novice in January. Failed by a whisker on return/handicap debut over 2½m at Carlisle and, with this drop back in trip unlikely to be an issue, he's a big player.

Made winning start over fences in 14-runner handicap at Southwell (15.8f, good to soft) in June. Performed well at Newcastle on the Flat later that month (final start for this yard) but well held on debut for Barry Brennan last time (also on the level) and he's opposable back hurdling.

Won twice in juvenile hurdles in 2022/23 season but well below that level in 3 handicaps last season. Had wind op ahead of his recent Leicester reappearance but he offered little (pulled up) and it's easy enough to look elsewhere.

Fairly useful bumper performer who doubled his tally over hurdles at Fontwell (17.7f, good) in May. Well beaten on 2 of his 3 subsequent starts switched to fences and while the return to this sphere is probably the right move, others make more appeal.

Winner on the Flat in France and best effort so far when runner-up in a C&D novice last November. Has failed to trouble the judge both starts in handicaps following 10 months off but it's still early days for this 5-y-o and perhaps the first-time hood will give him a lift.

Fairly useful hurdle/chase winner in France who took advantage of his falling mark in a Newcastle handicap hurdle in March. Followed that success with a couple of decent efforts in defeat but it's somewhat disconcerting that he was sold out of Micky Hammond's yard for just £4,000 last month.

Winless following 5 runs between the flags but has shown a good level of ability in both runs under Rules, latter finishing second in a 15.2f Wincanton novice. Very much of interest now pitched into a handicap off a fair-looking mark.

Had previously shaped like more of a staying type but showed benefit of wind surgery/application of a tongue strap after 5 months off when landing an Exeter handicap in October. Better form when second of 10 at Ascot (19f, good) since and he's not discounted, for all that more will be needed here.

Fair bumper winner who wasn't disgraced when second of 10 in a maiden hurdle at Hereford (16.2f, good) in May. Ran to a similar level at Fakenham next time but his effort proved short-lived when down the field on return/handicap debut for new yard at Wincanton.

Bumper winner but has yet to reach that level over hurdles and showed little spark on first run following a wind op at Exter in March.

But for a sketchy jump at the final flight DOMINIC'S FAULT surely would've made a winning handicap debut at Plumpton on his seasonal reappearance. The lightly-raced 7-y-o can atone for that near-miss, with Pyrotechnic, who is interesting returned to this track on his third run in handicap company, next on the list. The consistent King William Rufus, Holeshot and Star of Affinity all make each-way appeal.
