Gained a third 2m maiden/novice win of the season when scoring by 6 lengths at Stratford last month. Failed to meet expectations at Newton Abbot 3 weeks later but back over fences for this first time for this yard, he's open to significant improvement given his recent hurdles exploits.

Dual winning pointer who showed promise when reaching the frame over hurdles last winter. Produced a promising first effort in this sphere after 8 months off when runner-up at Fontwell (17.8f, soft) last month and there's every chance he can go one better.

A fair 2m hurdle winner and getting the hang of things over fences now, causing a 16/1 shock when getting off the mark at Southwell last month. Runner-up on both subsequent starts (on the Flat first occasion) and he remains firmly of interest.

Still winless over fences and shaped as if the run was probably needed after 7 months off at this course (19.8f, good to soft) a fortnight ago. Usual headgear reapplied but unlikely to troubling his rivals from well out of the weights.

It's hard to split the top 3 but the vote goes to VOCITO, who had shown only fair form at best over fences for previous connections but is open to significant improvement given the level of form he's since shown back over hurdles. Koenigsstern produced a promising first effort in this sphere on return at Fonwell recently, so he's marginally preferred to Nevendon for the forecast spot.
