Got off the mark over fences at Lingfield last November but came in last of 4 at Newbury in March. Tongue strap goes back on for his return and in the picture with yard going well.

Low-mileage 7-y-o who resumed with success in 8-runner handicap chase at Huntingdon (19.9f, good) 33 days ago. Up 6 lb but he merits serious consideration once more.

Made it 5 wins in this sphere at Huntingdon in April but he posted a below-par tenth of 18 in handicap chase at Cheltenham (25f, good) 16 days ago. Needs to get back on track.

C&D winner but he made mistakes when seventh of 8 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (24f) in April. Cheekpieces replace visor for his return and not discounted.

Much improved since sent chasing, scoring emphatically at Plumpton (2m4f) in September. Pulled up at Chepstow (3m) last time but no surprise to see him bounce back here with cheekpieces added.

None of these can be ruled out but the vote goes to EL RIO who returned in style when successful at Huntingdon and can defy a 6 lb weights rise with few miles still on the clock. The reappearing Passing Well is feared most from the in-form Jamie Snowden yard ahead of Gary and Josh Moore's pair Abingworth and Hudson de Grugy.
