Modest Flat winner who left his hurdling debut form behind when second of 12 in a maiden at Fakenham (2m, good) in June. Below that level completed start since over timber and also well held back on the Flat when last seen in July.

Had cheekpieces on and got off the mark in 10-runner handicap hurdle at Cartmel (22.1f, good) with a but if hand in June. Down in trip and matched that form at Market Rasen a fortnight later so a definite player if at that level back from a short break of coping with this test of speed.

Landed a gamble on the back of a breathing operation in 11-runner C&D handicap last week, travelling strongly. Unpenalised for that so claims are fairly obvious.

Won a couple of handicap chases last spring and reapplication of cheekpieces worked the trick when resuming winning ways over fences at Southwell in March. Reportedly bled when pulling up later that month and off since.

Successful over fences back in 2021 and finally opened his account over hurdles in a Bangor handicap last year. Form has been in and out since, though he may well have needed last month's return from a break and he has a lowly mark to work with.

Fair maiden handicapper on Flat but has yet to better poor form over hurdles, promising more than he delivered at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago.
