Successful on his completed start in points and made a winning start under Rules in straightforward fashion at Ayr (2m, good) in March, making all. By no means disgraced when fourth of 10 at Kelso next time and he could be a factor if his jumping passes the test now switched to hurdles.

Runner-up both starts in points and shaped better than distance beaten suggests in a Cork bumper on sole start for Ms M. M. Gannon. Again showed ability when third in a 12-runner C&D novice (soft) on hurdles debut in May and he should have a future in this sphere.

Successful on the most recent of his half-a-dozen starts in points and shaped well when third of 12 on Rules debut/sole start for John Gleeson in a Cork bumper (19f, heavy) during the spring. Interesting to see how he gets on now switched to hurdles for new yard.

Placed a couple of times between the flags but his sole run under Rules in a Punchestown bumper resulted in a heavy defeat.

KINGSTON JAMES showed plenty in a couple of bumpers earlier this year and he is an appealing alternative to likely favourite Ankud now switched to hurdles. The latter is the one to beat on the strength of his breakthrough success in a Sligo handicap in the summer and is a much-respected main danger ahead of fellow Irish recruit Shadow Chaser.
