On a handy mark and shaped as if he might be ready to capitalise when third at Beverley last time, sure to have finished closer with a clear run. Definite player.

11/8, improved on recent efforts to win 5-runner handicap at Brighton (5.3f, soft) 9 days ago. This is a better race but he's well in under the penalty and certainly worth a chance to follow up.

Hasn't won for a while but his mark has come back into line and he finished to good effect at Leicester recently. C&D winner who could get involved if things drop right.

Latest win at Ffos Las in June. Last of 9 in handicap (9/1) at Bath (5.7f, good to firm) 32 days ago. Hard to fancy.

Returned from a break to capitalise on a reduced mark without much to spare over C&D 19 days ago. Not an obvious sort to follow up, however.

Scored at Bath in June and, following a couple of lesser efforts, was right back on track when runner-up at Bath a fortnight ago. Should be on the premises again.
