Not fully exposed and last couple of efforts have been creditable, albeit beaten by Clatterbridge when fourth at Uttoxeter last time. Should give another good account.

Scored at Hereford in March and has held his form since, running creditably in a first-time visor at Ludlow a month ago. Should be thereabouts if his jumping holds up.

Promising type. First run since leaving Alexandra Dunn when 16/1, career best when winning 6-runner handicap hurdle at Warwick (21f, good to soft) 15 days ago, staying on strongly to lead close home. More to come and fancied to follow up.

Yet to offer much encouragement but latest fifth in a novice hurdle at Cartmel was a small step in the right direction. Worth a market check on handicap debut.

Forecasts

Fantomas (7/2), Clatterbridge (4/1), Mattie Ross (5/1), Moro Rock (11/2), Kapamazov (13/2), Etoile Brillante (13/2), Coilrock (7/1), Blended Stealth (9/1), Belladinotte (18/1), Ideal De Romay (20/1), Mrs Kinsella (25/1)

20:05 Market Rasen - 14 June 2024 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

ETOILE BRILLIANTE did well to make up a lot of ground late when landing a steadily-run event at Warwick recently and she's fancied to make it two from two for this yard. Clatterbridge is another last-time-out winner who deserves respect and Coilrock can feature if the headgear continues to have a positive effect.
