Won 5 times over fences last term and posted solid fourth back from 6 months off at Chepstow (19.4f, good) in April. Underperformed back hurdling at Warwick last month and quickly heads back over the larger obstacles.

Showed much improved form to get off the mark on handicap hurdle debut at Southwell in March and belied his position 12 lb out of the weights as he justified support to make a successful debut over fences at Cartmel (21.2f, soft) 8 days ago. May take some stopping under a penalty.

Fairly useful winning chaser in France and some decent placed efforts for this yard. However, he made little impact on his first start over hurdles in Britain at Southwell just over 6 weeks ago so will need to bounce back. Handicapper given him a chance.

Successful both starts in bumpers and off the mark over hurdles at Worcester (23f) in September. Disappointed on his handicap debut the following month, but shaped well on return at Perth last month, making a chance-ending mistake 2 out. Worth considering on chase debut.

Third on sole outing in Irish points and showed a good turn of foot to get off the mark over hurdles at Wetherby (19.7f) last February. Unable to progress next time, but is still rough around the edges and ought to make a better chaser. Respected returning from 14 months off (has had a wind op).

A few in with chances but KILTA made the perfect start over fences (from 12 lb out of the weights) when scoring at Cartmel last week so, with improvement on the cards, Sam England's charge is fancied to follow up under a penalty at the expense of Get Up Mush, who makes his chase debut/reappearance for the red-hot Skelton team. Olivers Travels, who is another newcomer to chasing, completes the shortlist.
