Took advantage of a career-low mark to end a long losing run in handicap chase at Market Rasen in November. Followed up off 8 lb higher there next time but the wheels came off up a further 8 lb back from a break at Hereford last month, albeit he did look rusty that day.

The obvious starting point is HAPPY DU MESNIL, who jumped with greater accuracy than in his three previous chase starts when scoring over C&D last week. He is taken to follow up under a penalty, most likely at thge chief expense of Benny Silver. It'll be interesting to see how Tellmesomethingood shapes up in the betting ahead of this chase debut, while Big Bee Hive has decent enough form claims but the drying ground is a worry where he is concerned.
