Fairly useful hurdler and matched that level when opening his chase account at Wetherby in November. Fortunate when scoring at Newcastle (16.3f, heavy) last time, held when left clear 2 out, but he's respected as he makes first run for yard after leaving Nicky Richards.

Finally off the mark in maiden hurdle at Ayr in February, but he's prone to errors over fences and was still in a narrow lead when falling 3 out in novice chase at Down Royal (19.6f, soft) last month. Capable of getting involved if keeping the mistakes to a minimum.

Bumper winner who was steadily progressive over hurdles last season, winning 2 of his 4 starts. Shaped much better than on his chasing debut when third of 4 at Newbury (19.8f, soft) in March, though found less than looked likely. More required.

Much improved sent chasing this season, landing handicaps at Newcastle and Wetherby at the beginning of the year. Hard held when resuming winning ways at the latter course (19.4f, heavy) in March, before losing 2 shoes when pulled up last time. Needs to get back on the up.

In first-time cheekpieces, resumed his progress over fences when making it 2 wins from his last 3 starts in handicap at Southwell (20.4f, heavy) 20 days ago, always in control once leading before 2 out. Major player with the potential to do better still.

Made a winning return at Carlisle (15.9f, soft) in October and has been proving most consistent since, rallying from 2 out when third back at the same C&D (heavy) 17 days ago. Can give another good account returned to this longer trip.

CLONAKILTY quickly got back on track when winning at Southwell last time and, with the return to a right-handed track to suit, he can follow up with further progress to come. He is taken to get the better of Findthetime, who could also still have more to offer as a chaser on his stable debut, while Travail d'Orfevre can give his running once more.
