In top hands and starting to get his act together over hurdles, placed in handicaps at Doncaster and Newbury in 2024. Nudged up 2 lb but he enters calculations.

Point winner who left his hurdling debut form behind refitted with a tongue strap when third in 8-runner novice at Lingfield (2m) in November. Tailed off in much stronger company at Cheltenham and having been allotted a stiff mark, he was well held at Exeter. Up in trip.

Modest form at best for Paul Nicholls but, having attracted support, shaped quite well when third in a handicap hurdle at Doncaster in December. Stopped too quickly for comfort at Huntingdon since and cheekpieces now on.

Built on previous promise to get off the mark in 12-runner handicap hurdle at Plumpton (20.5f, soft) in January. Raised 6 lb and posted a fair effort in his follow-up bid when third upped to 23.5f at Ascot.

Opened his account in a 20.4f maiden here last summer. Unable to match that form since, albeit a runner-up effort over C&D (30 lengths behind the winner) was more like it. Stamina for a well-run 3m isn't set in stone but he needs considering.

Hints of promise in his qualifying runs and a tongue tie is now fitted up in trip for this handicap debut.

Promise on 2 of his 3 starts in novice/maiden hurdles but failed to improve for switch to handicap company at Kempton and has followed that with a couple of very tame efforts. Blinkers on trying 3m for the first time.

Breakthrough success in this sphere came at Sedgefield in January but trailed in last of 8 on the Flat a month later and similarly poor back hurdling at Warwick recently. Hiked up markedly in trip with cheekpieces back on.

Arrives on the back of small-field wins at Sedgefield and Hexham in recent months and a subsequent 4 lb rise leaves him competitive with stamina assured.

Much improved to win 3m Taunton handicap hurdle in March 2023 but nowhere near that level in his 4 outings since.

Just bits and pieces of form in Ireland and comfortably held in 3 chases for new yard. Back up in trip with headgear on.

Won 3 times in 2021/22 season. Drawn blank since but signs he can do something from his reduced mark when second over 3m at Musselburgh in December. Bit disappointing at Sedgefield since.

Maiden Irish pointer who hasn't shaped with much encouragement over hurdles as yet. 11 lb out of the weights.
