2/5
Point/bumper winner who easily landed the odds on hurdling bow at Worcester (2m) in September and built on that when third in Chepstow Grade 2 (19.4f) the following month. Couple of heavy defeats since raise questions but he's certainly in the right hands and this is easier. Cheekpieces on.

12/1
Fairly useful performer on Flat who got off the mark for new connections over hurdles at Catterick (19.3f) in December. May have been undone by testing conditions at Southwell latest and must enter calculations.

40/1
Comfortable winner of sole outing in points but was readily put in his place by the winner when second of 4 in a Haydock bumper on Rules debut and was far too keen at Carlisle next time. Fair start to hurdling career when fifth at Catterick.

Age: 4|  Weight: 10-11| J: R T Dunne| T: Ian Williams
150/1
Fairly useful form when winning a 15f Dieppe Flat maiden for Mikel Delzangles last summer. Shaped better than distant fourth of 5 suggests on recent Kelso hurdles debut but since pulled up at Stratford.
|
Timeform
Fairly useful 1¼m Flat winner for Ed Dunlop. Should have a future over hurdles for his new connections but he'll need to settle than he did at Market Rasen.
|
Timeform
Fairly useful Flat winner at up to 13f in France. Shaped promisingly when third of 10 on her Doncaster hurdles debut just after Christmas but well held at Catterick since.

Forecasts

Rock House (2/5), Gwash (15/2), Magical Hill (8/1), Sea Grey (12/1), Dog Fox (14/1), Ned Cash (33/1), Love True (40/1), Rehill Relic (40/1), Mount Ferns (50/1), Djerbanni (150/1), Grain Trade (200/1), Locked On (250/1), Huckleberry Sting (250/1)

13:05 Huntingdon - 1 April 2024 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

There are some risks attached to taking a short price about ROCK HOUSE, who is fitted with cheekpieces on the back a of a couple of heavy defeats but this isn't a strong race. Drying ground will help Sea Grey and he could be the one to give the selection most to think about.
