The 6-y-o took a step forward when fourth in a maiden here on Boxing Day, form which is working out well (second and third both won since), and he promises to be suited by this stiffer test now pitched into a handicap. Top-weight Pentland Hills will be a big threat if able to build on his encouraging reappearance, while Largy Poet and Joker de Mai are also key players.
