Wincanton Handicap Hurdle (Conditionals/Amateurs That Have Ridden In PRA Pony Races)

French import who posted best effort to date for current yard when third in handicap at Lingfield (16f) in December. Not in same form at Taunton since but can't be ruled out.

Good second in handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot in May but he hasn't shown much spark since, including over fences the last twice.

Won a bumper at Plumpton in April and ran with promise in both starts over timber, latest when third of 7 in novice at this course (21.4f, heavy) 51 days ago. Likely more to come on handicap debut.

Dual course winner (both 15.2f) last season but yet to fire in a trio of starts this term. Tries longer trip now and has fallen to an attractive mark.

Runner-up in 21.5f Newton Abbot maiden/novice events on his first 2 outings over hurdles but hasn't built on that and has something to prove at present.

Fair winning chaser for Tom George in 2020. Lightly raced since but posted creditable efforts both starts over hurdles this term, latest when third of 14 in handicap at this course (15.2f) last month. Respected.

Deservedly shed maiden tag when dead heating at Newton Abbot (21.5f, good to soft) in September 2022 but hasn't scored since and recent efforts have been below par.

Well held in 3 outings back from a long absence last winter and no more encouragement in either outing this term. Hard to make a case for. 3 lb out of the handicap.

Appeared to take a step forward when runner-up from a long way out of the weights at Taunton (19f, good to soft) in December, for all that he failed to land a glove on the wide-margin winner. Not so far out of the weights here but is still looking for first success.

Half-brother to bumper winner/useful 2¼m hurdle winner Grand Jury but hasn't offered much in 2 runs over hurdles for Dan Skelton and for his current yard. 5 lb wrong on handicap debut.

Just 1 win from 30 NH runs and finished well held on return at Exeter 50 days ago. Best watched from 5 lb out of the handicap.
