Improved again when making all in handicap hurdle at Worcester last October and placed on his next 4 starts, before turning in a lacklustre effort on his final outing of the campaign. However, he appeals as the type to make a chaser, so he could bounce back on his return.

Fairly useful in bumpers in Ireland and off the mark in Leicester novice hurdle last December. Didn't find any progress switched to handicaps, though possibly needed the run on his latest outing. Remains capable of better as he goes chasing on first start since leaving Alex Hales.

Fair hurdler for Stuart Crawford in Ireland and, after 18 months off, showed that he retains plenty of ability when third in Sedgefield maiden in October. Had made the frame on his only start in Irish points, so could build on his latest effort sent chasing.

Left his hurdling debut form behind when runner-up in Taunton maiden in March and shaped encouragingly when fourth at Ffos Las (21.9f) on his return. However, failed to come on for that effort at Chepstow last time and the drop in trip might not be ideal on his chase debut.

GARDENER didn't go on as hoped switched to handicaps over hurdles, but he possibly needed the run after 9 months off last time and he could yet do better over fences. He is taken to make a winning stable/chase debut, with Arlo next best having shaped encouragingly on his reappearance, ahead of Couldbeaweapon.
