Kings College Taunton Junior 'National Hunt' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Flat-bred gelding who showed only poor form in bumpers and doesn't make much appeal first time in this sphere.

Showed a bit of ability in an Exeter bumper but he's likely to be brought along gradually, so probably won't feature on hurdling debut.

Related to numerous winners but little better than modest form is his 2 starts, beaten 23 lengths into second at Kempton (2m, soft) latterly.

From a good family and made a really positive start when runner-up in a juvenile at Wincanton 46 days ago. That form has been boosted by the winner since and he's well fancied to go one better.

Castle Du Berlais gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler/chase winner Bal Kauto. Dam, maiden on Flat, closely related to top-class multiple Grade 1 chase winner (stayed 3¼m) Kauto Star. One to note on pedigree, for all that he may need more time.

Lord of England gelding. Dam, placed on Flat in France, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2¼m) Konig Hall. Respected on debut.

Jeu St Eloi gelding. Dam ran twice over hurdles in France. Not an obvious sort on paper.

Mukhadram gelding. Dam (h113), 2m hurdle winner (stayed 2½m), half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 25f) Bally Beaufort.

Yet to achieve much over hurdles and hard to make a case for.

Farhh gelding. Dam ran twice on Flat. Best watched unless the betting suggests otherwise.

Fracas filly. Half-sister to 2 winners on Flat, including useful 6f winner Sometimesadiamond. Dam 1¼m-11.7f winner.
