Living North At 25 Years Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle

Cheap purchase after placing in points but there has been encouragement on both hurdles outings to date. Handicapper has taken no chances with opening mark but he still warrants respect.

Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable second of 11 in handicap hurdle (4/1) at Bangor (23f, soft). Off 8 months. More to come and worth taking the chance that he's ready to go on return.

Ended time in Ireland with a much-improved display to land a big-field handicap hurdle at Clonmel in March 2022. Sent off at 66/1 and poor effort on sole start for Joanne Foster last December (absent since) and hard to know what to expect of him on debut for another new yard.

Sketchy jumper who wasn't at his best when down the field at Sedgefield on reappearance. Well treated, though, and stable is going better.

Showed a bit in 2 bumpers and both completed outings over hurdles, just fifth in a novice at Hexham 22 days ago. Upped in trip for handicap bow, so may do better.

No impact in a bumper/over hurdles in Ireland and pulled up in novice at Hexham on debut for this yard last month. Hard to fancy.

Modest form at best over hurdles. Has hit the frame both starts this season and is expected to get involved in this weak race.

Showed some promise in bumpers and, while he's yet to match that encouragement over hurdles, there's scope for him to do better now handicapping with his stable going well.

Returned to winning ways with a narrow success at Market Rasen last December. Not in the same form since, but now 3 lb below that winning mark and, with a recent spin at the aforementioned course likely to have blown away the cobwebs.
