12/1
Useful hurdler who hasn't stood much racing in recent seasons but offered something to work on sent chasing after 20 months off when 16 lengths second to Good Risk At All at Carlisle (20f, soft) recently. Step back up in trip is a positive and he's in top hands.

Rangy sort who proved progressive over hurdles last term, gaining his third success from 7 starts at this venue (3m) in April. Made an impressive winning return/chasing debut at Worcester in September and found only Flooring Porter too strong over C&D (good to soft) 3 weeks ago.

9/4
Useful hurdler who produced a pretty smart performance to score at Carlisle on reappearance in 2022/23 and repeated that feat in impressive fashion on chase debut just over 3 weeks ago, beating Alaphilippe by 16 lengths. Can develop into a very smart novice this winter so rates the one to beat.

Talented but rather frustrating performer who was placed again at the Festival when third to Gaillard du Mesnil in the NH Chase. Jumped bolding before tying up on the run-in when eighth in the Grand National at Aintree (34.3f, good) 7 months ago and fancied to be in the shake-up on return.

Added to his bumper success when scoring over hurdles here on New Year's Day but failed to kick on from that. However, he did show some aptitude for chasing after 7 months off when third over C&D (good to soft) 3 weeks ago and should have more to offer in this sphere.

Forecasts

Broadway Boy (9/4), Good Risk At All (9/4), Weveallbeencaught (11/4), Mister Coffey (5/1), Alaphilippe (12/1), Cloudy Flamingo (80/1)

13:45 Cheltenham - 18 November 2023 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

GOOD RISK AT ALL made an impressive start over the larger obstacles at Carlisle just over 3 weeks ago, and with further progress on the cards, Sam Thomas' 7-y-o is fancied to make it 2-2 in this sphere with the forecast heavy rain only enhancing his chances somewhat further. Mister Coffey found his stamina running dry late on in the Grand National when last seen so he's put forward as the main threat returning at a more suitable trip, with Weveallbeencaught taken to fill third.
