Fair hurdler who was in good form until posting a below-par third of 7 in novice hurdle (5/6) at Worcester (16f, good to soft) 57 days ago. Still looks the one to beat lowered in grade for his handicap debut.

Scored at Worcester (2m) on second run since returning from a lengthy absence, but subsequent displays at Market Rasen and Hereford leave him with a point to prove. 16 lb out of the handicap too.

Very modest form in this sphere to date and hasn't threatened in a handful of runs on the Flat in recent months. Also 22 lb "wrong" in the weights.

THE GEORDIE GINGE needs to shrug off a lesser showing at Worcester but still looks to have a very good opportunity to get off the mark lowered in grade here. Laser Focus was runner-up in similar company at Stratford last time and should again have a say, while veteran Goose Man can't be discounted either despite having a two-year absence to overcome.
